Toby Kearn, CEO of BroadPeak

Tobin Kearn

Chief Executive Officer

Tobin leads our strategic direction and growth. His expertise spans commodity markets, risk management, and complex data environments, capabilities that continue to shape BroadPeak’s role in the industry.

Before BroadPeak, Toby led inventory hedging at ExxonMobil and advised senior leadership on commercial strategy. He previously held research and analyst roles at Wood Mackenzie and the Reserve Bank of Australia, where he developed deep insight into commodity markets, pricing behavior, and regulatory dynamics.

He holds an M.Sc. in Political Economy from the London School of Economics and a B.Sc. in Economics from American University in Washington, D.C.

Vivek Pathak, Co-Founder and COO of BroadPeak

Vivek Pathak

Co-founder & COO

Vivek has over 20 years of experience across energy infrastructure and technology for global commodities trading. He began his career as a Chemical Engineer, designing and building energy assets, before moving into financial technology serving Wall Street and global markets.

As a co-founder of BroadPeak, Vivek focused on delivering real-time data infrastructure for trading, risk, and compliance in commodity and derivatives markets. He played a central role in product development, client delivery, and shaping a culture built on long-term relationships. 

Following BroadPeak’s acquisition in 2023, Vivek stepped into the role of Chief Operating Officer. Vivek oversees execution across the business. He works closely with teams, clients, and partners to ensure BroadPeak delivers practical solutions that meet the demands of fast-moving trading environments.

He holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta.

Manish Handa, CTO of BroadPeak

Manish Handa

Co-founder & Chief Technology Officer

Manish has over 20 years of technology leadership experience at major investment banks like Lehman Brothers and Credit Suisse. He has strong expertise in data management and handling regulatory requirements in the financial sector.

Before his banking career, Manish worked as a consultant in Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) systems. He advised on and implemented solutions for front and middle office teams.

At BroadPeak, Manish leads the technology teams. He shapes the technical strategy and guides product development. His focus is on building reliable and efficient systems that work well today and can adapt to future market needs.

He holds a B.Tech in Computer Science from Punjabi University, India.

River Gali, VP of Product and Head of Professional Services

River Galli

VP of Product & Head of Professional Services

River is a seasoned technology professional with over 25 years of experience in commodity markets. He specializes in software delivery, product development, and complex system integrations, driving innovative solutions that enhance integration capabilities.

In addition to leading product development, River heads BroadPeak’s Professional Services division, managing a team of expert consultants focused on delivering tailored solutions that address customer challenges effectively.

He holds a BA in Computer Information Systems from Boise State University, Idaho.

Steven Eisen

Chief Strategy Officer

Steven is an economist and strategic leader with deep experience in global trade, commodities markets, and regulatory compliance. He began his career as a energy supply chain consultant before moving into market intelligence at Ameren, where he helped guide contract negotiations & decision-making with data-driven insights.  At BroadPeak, Steven leverages his background in economics, financial analysis, and negotiations to guide the company’s growth and strategy.  As Chief Strategy Officer & Chief of Staff, he is focused on driving growth, innovation, and promoting employee satisfaction & wellbeing. Steven holds a master’s degree in International Trade & Economics from Johns Hopkins University.

Sachvir Cheema

Marketing Director

Sachvir leads marketing and brand strategy, execution, and communications with a focus on driving revenue growth. Prior to joining BroadPeak, Sachvir was Director of Marketing and Business Development at Quantifi, where he managed marketing communications, brand strategy, analyst relations, and business development.

Previously, he was Head of EMEA Marketing at GFI Group and held roles at EY and Aberdeen Asset Management. Sachvir has 20+ years of marketing experience within financial services. 

He holds a BA (Hons) in Marketing and Communications.

Ryan Claxton, Director of Sales at BroadPeak

Ryan Claxton

Global Director of Sales and Account Management

Ryan brings nearly 20 years of experience in business development and customer relations to BroadPeak. Since joining in 2016, he has become a trusted partner for trading firms, helping them align technology and compliance strategies to optimize daily operations and achieve long-term goals.

Ryan became Director of Sales in September 2023. He leads the sales team and drives the strategy across global markets. He is responsible for setting the global sales direction and delivering consistent revenue growth while supporting long-term client success.

He holds a BFA from the University of Oklahoma.
